Rusagonis ATV Club #45

Founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2013. We are a proud member of the New Brunswick ATV Federation & have over 200 km of winter & summer managed ATV trails

 The Rusagonis ATV Club was founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2013. We are a proud member of the New Brunswick ATV Federation. We have over 200 km of managed ATV trails that join the municipalities of Rusagonis, Beaverdam, Charter’s Settlement, Lincoln, Geary, Fredericton Junction, and Tracy to the Provincial ATV trail system.  We are currently working on developing trails into Oromocto and Harvey and hope to have them open soon! We also have groomed ATV trails for our members to enjoy in the Winter!  The Club has several organized ATV rallies and fun runs each year as well as participating in the Canada Day Parade as part of Oromocto’s Pioneer Days. Our volunteers continue to work hard to provide safe legal and environmentally responsible managed trails for the enjoyment of all users.

The Goals of the Rusagonis ATV Club are to:

  • Promote safe and responsible recreational ATV use;
  • Develop and maintain a multi-use trail system while respecting our environment;
  • Maintain a positive public image;
  • Protect the interests of ATVers; and
  • Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the outdoors.

We have 6 organized club events every year:

 Winter Poker Run: Third Saturday in January.

Winter Night Fun Run: On the full moon in February.

Spring Poker Run: Last Saturday in April.

Pioneer Days Parade in Oromocto: Canada Day.

End Summer Fun Run: Saturday after Labour Day.

Fall Poker Run: First Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Riding Tips......   You are responsible for the rider behind you!

At all intersections have a look behind you to ensure the rider behind you sees you and sees where you turn.  Make eye contact before proceeding.  If the rider behind you isn't there wait 5 minutes before cautiously backtracking to find them.  If all riders practice this rule no one will ever get left behind!

The pace of the run is set by the ATV in the rear.

We would like the community to know that we welcome everyone to all our events.  Community breakfasts, BBQs, rallys, door prize draws, and 50/50 ticket sales. Also, the ATV runs are not open to just club members, they are open to all......... but you do need registration, insurance, and a trail permit to go on the run.  Day passes are available for all organized club events.
